Abstract

This paper explores the issue of cultural changes in the Media within contemporary society. The aim is to show commercials that are closely connected with the state of society at a given moment in time, through an examination of selected advertising campaigns in Great Britain. As a result, people are offered a broader and more complete picture of their particular place in society, which enables them to better understand its structure and negotiate its shape and form through both direct and indirect participation. The paper argues that advertising is a critical tool to study the growing complexities of social relations that are in flux and experiencing a metamorphosis.
