About the Journal

Journal of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture (JCEEA) is a continuation of long tradition of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Egnineering and Architecture in publishing articles related to the research areas of its scientific activities. These articles are not limited only to the authors employed at our Faculty, but also take into account the results of research carried out by authors from other domestic and foreign institutions.

Over the years of the Faculty publishing activity, the name of the journal has changed due to various formal and legal changes. 

  • in the years 1973-1982 it was published as Dissertations – The works of the Institute of Civil and Environmental Engineering,
  • in the years 1983-2012 it was published as Scientific Papers of Rzeszów University of Technology entitled Civil and Environmental Engineering,
  • in 2013-2019 (after changes in the Faculty name) it was published quartely as Journal of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture JCEEA (since 2018 articles are published only in English),
  • since 2020 the Journal of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture JCEEA is published annually.

In its long history, the journal was indexed in the following databases: BazTech, Google Scholar, Index Copernicus ICV 2012: 6.46. The JCEEA has passed the evaluation process in the IC Journal Master List database for 2017, whose results were  awarded by ICV 93.86 points.

The Journal of Civil Engineering, Environment and Architecture (JCEEA) utilizes the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for its online presence and management. OJS is an open-source software developed by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) to facilitate the management and publication of scholarly journals. It supports various aspects of the editorial workflow, including manuscript submission, peer review, and indexing. The JCEEA's website is structured using OJS, as indicated by the platform's distinctive layout and functionalities. This system enhances the journal's operational efficiency and accessibility for authors, reviewers, and readers.
