Advances in IT and Electrical Engineering, published since 1983 (till December 2022 as Rzeszów University of Technology – Journal of Electrical Engineering), is a continuation of scientific publications published since 1973 under the name of Dissertations - Works of the Electrotechnical Institute.

In accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education and Science, implementing the policy of open access to publications and research results financed from public funds, articles in our journals are made available on the basis of Open Access - CC BY-NC-ND 3.0 PL.

It is an open access log, meaning that all content is available for free to the user or his organization. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full text of the articles or use them for any other lawful purpose without the prior consent of the publisher or author.

All texts published in the journal are available in full on the Journal's website. Since 2012, digital identifiers (DOIs) have also been introduced.
The journal successfully passed the IC Journal Master List evaluation process, the result of which is indexation in the Index Copernicus Journal Master List database and the 2014 ICV score (Index Copernicus Value) 53.57.

Journal is published in a continuous mode.

Articles are published free of charge.
