Cost analysis of the configuration and the assembly of modular handles on the example of processing of the double-sided lever

Abstract

Issues of using modular object handles in machining operations were presented. Examples of the confi guration of the instrumentation of this type were given in processing to the double-sided lever. The cost of purchase of elements of the instrumentation as well as the assembly and handles usage based on examples provided by two companies was set. An infl uence of the number of simultaneously fi xed elements for processing on cost of modular instrumentation was analysed. Application of rectangular plate base turned out to be most favourable solution, enabling processing of the lever in two handles.
